Smaller than Lemons but with a similar shape, Limes are a highly aromatic citrus fruit with a vibrant green, smooth skin. Like Lemons, they are rich in vitamin c and have many culinary uses beyond your favourite alcoholic beverages! They are an important ingredient in Mexican, Indian, Latin American and South-east Asian cuisine, where the acidity of the juice is held in high regard, alongside the floral aroma of their zest.

Available all year round, a firm Lime will keep up to a fortnight in the fridge or a week in the fruit bowl. Once cut, wrap in clingfilm and keep in the fridge for 2-3 days.
