Smaller in size than their green counterparts, Hass Avocados have a thick, rough, pebbly skin that turns from green to almost black as it ripens. The flesh is richer, creamier and more flavourful than the green avocado due to a higher natural fat content, which also makes it much softer once ripened – the perfect characteristics for a glorious guacamole or simple smashed avo on toast!

Available all year round from Central and South America, Hass Avocados usually arrive to us just under ripe so should be ready to slice – order a couple of days ahead if you’re looking to smash it up!
