This yellow skinned, oval shaped fruit is a firm family favourite for good reason. Super sweet and juicy when ripe, the pale green flesh is rich in vitamin c and potassium while being relatively low in calories.

Available all year round with the bulk of crops rotating between Spain and Brazil depending on the season, a ripe Honeydew melon will have a slight bit of give in it’s skin when pressed and will give off more of a sweet aroma than an underripe fruit. Refrigerate in an airtight container once chopped or wrap large spare slices in clingfilm to prevent from drying out.
