With an abundance of succulent and juicy, orange flesh, ripe Mangoes have a strong case for being the tastiest of all tropical fruits. Many varieties are cultivated all over the world which bring an array of different shapes and sizes, ranging from long and slender to kidney shaped or round.

The smooth, leathery skin is multi coloured with blends of red, yellow and green depending on the variety, while the sweet flesh is rich in fibre, Vitamin A, Vitamin C and potassium. Mangoes also contain natural enzymes which aid in the breaking down of protein, which makes them a great flavouring to marinade and help tenderise meat.
