About our Strawberries
Arguably best served with a splash of cream in the sunshine, this all time favourite has countless other uses to explore, from smoothies to salads, puddings to preserves.
Available all year round from origins such as Spain, Morocco, Belgium or Holland, this little red berry is definitely better when British but best when local. Check out Mr Spilman’s late season “Malwina” variety – our favourite! Rest assured, our carefully selected Strawberries will be amongst the finest you’ll find anywhere, no matter what the time of year.
About the Farmer
We always try to get our fresh produce from local farmers, and by using those smaller scale, non-contract farms, it results in a better quality of products for our customers. If we have to adapt to the changing market conditions, we always ensure we use the regional farm network, pick the best quality produce and ensure a fair price is paid through the supply chain to support the British farming community.
