About our Banana Shallots
Banana shallots are a unique and flavourful type of shallot. Sort of a cross between and onion and shallot. These elongated bulbs have a deep, rich flavour that is both sweet and savoury, with a mild onion-like taste and have a tight, papery skin and a deep, rich colour.
In addition to their delicious taste, banana shallots also offer a variety of health benefits. They are a good source of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, vitamin B6, and potassium, and are low in calories and fat.
