About our Butternut Squash
The butternut squash is an autumn and winter vegetable with smooth and slightly sweet, nutty, flesh and is perfect for roasting, baking, or pureeing into soups and sauces. Its oblong shape and tan exterior make it easy to recognise, while its bright orange interior adds colour to any dish.
Not only is the butternut squash tasty, it is also packed with nutrients. It is a great source of fibre, vitamins A and C, and potassium, making it a healthy addition to any plate.
We supply British squashes during the autumn and winter when they are harvested, for example, the British-bred Harrier Butternut squash or we supply them from reputable farmers to be available all year round for when you want a hearty but delicious meal!
